Former Sullivan’s/Lady N’awlins chef to head kitchen at The Savory Grain

The former Empress restaurant at 2043 W. Broad St. is getting a makeover in preparation for its official relaunch as The Savory Grain on Feb. 1. Owner Jami Bohdan says she has brought in Sean Murphy as executive chef; Murphy had been head chef for F.W. Sullivan’s Fan Bar & Grille and Lady N’awlins Cajun Café, but recently was doing catering work. They’re planning a new American menu with seasonal changes.
