this sounds like what the Rooster Cart was trying to do only not as good.
Rooster Cart and RVA Vegan have a mini pod already set up at 1825 West Broad with a couple more set to join.
this sounds like what the Rooster Cart was trying to do only more successful.
who cares about comparing them, why don’t you go to both of them and then go on with your life.
IS THAT A REAL MISTER SOFTEE TRUCK?! I’m getting a double cone with vanilla on one side and chocolate on the other, and rainbow sprinkles all over. Reminds me of spending time with my grandma at Rockaway Beach in Queens growing up.
I haven’t heard of some of these trucks so I think I’ll have to visit several times to eat from all of them. Glad to see this happening.
And I will visit the Rooster pod too. Is it open evenings yet? I was all set to go on the Friday it got cancelled.
Why not have them there for lunch as well?
Actually this isnt even a food court- its just 4 seperate events in april. The pod at 1825 is actually open daily for lunch, and they turned an empty lot into a place for small biz and community. I’d say thats way more successful than Boka and his constant media stunts.
Along with this food truck gathering, RoosterCart is leading a food cart pod at 1825 West Broad–they’re open for lunch most weekdays, as I understand.

The four dates in April are a Beta test. With community support, we are hoping to extend the food truck well beyond the initial four dates. It will be a group effort. Rooster is yummy.
