Cocktails a hit at new Fanhouse
Dana Craig lauds the drinks at the new Fanhouse:
As I sipped one of Fanhouse’s tantalizing combinations (whiskey, Ozeki sake, fresh-squeezed lemon, egg white and honey syrup topped with an absinthe-filled eggshell, $10), I longed for my trip to NYC — partially because this cocktail was just as good as, if not better than, the drinks I had in the big city, but mostly because it made me wish the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control didn’t require food sales with its liquor licenses.

I love their cocktails. Very creative and tasty. They also have an awesome beer list. I make it a point to hit Fanhouse whenever I am venturing over for brews at Commercial Tap House. It is great to have 2 wonderful craft beer joints pretty much next to each other.
Too bad Dana didn’t laud the food….two stars. Bad even by Fan bar standards.
