Parking, 4-way stops up before Council
The agenda for the upcoming 3/28 City Council meeting (PDF) has a number of items of local interest:
Ord. No. 2011-11 (Patron: Mayor Jones, By Request) – To authorize the special use of *** 2201 West Main Street for the purpose of reducing certain parking requirements ***. (As Amended)
Ord. No. 2011-17 (Patron: Mr. Samuels) – To erect all-way stop signs at the intersection of Plum Street and Floyd Avenue.
Ord. No. 2011-18 (Patron: Mr. Samuels) – To erect all-way stop signs at the intersection of Grove Avenue and Plum Street.
Really, can we just quit with the piecemeal requests for all-way stops in the Fan. It’s clear that these will keep coming as residents on each block decide they think they need one. Just bite the bullet and put all-way stops at all the intersections in the Fan since that’s where we’re headed anyway.
