From the Richmond Police:
ROBBERY. 12/8/09, 9:07 p.m. in the 00 block of Strawberry Street. A male reported he was robbed at gunpoint by two unknown males.
The most alarming part of this crime is how early in the night it was, although I guess armed robbery is always pretty alarming.
Richmond BizSense has a neat story about Lamplighter Coffee, now operating out of a space at 116 S. Addison.
Lamplighter, too, is equipped with its own roaster. [Owner Noelle] Archibald said the shop will roast green coffee and deliver beans by the pound by bicycle to homes and businesses throughout the city.
Delivery by bike is a pretty sweet idea. And so is a weekly delivery (since freshness really matters with coffee). Although a pound/week is an awful lot of coffee. The store/cafe is open 7 days a week from 7 AM-5 PM.
Can anyone answer the most important question: Is the coffee any good?
