I'm not sure what you expect Chad to apologize for. Was your or anyone else's property damaged? Were you hurt in anyway but some wheatpastes in the park? How has your life been negatively effected? Were the building the wheatpastes were attached destroyed?

I live in Oregon Hill too (unfortunately near you) and I don't know of anyone who was hurt in anyway by his displays of public art. He was not using profanity, not defacing any private property. I have heard dozens of local residents (and their children) talk about how they enjoyed his "art".

Keep in mind, oregon hill is about 6 blocks away from one of the largest art schools on the east coast. Is it really a big deal to have street art in our community? Seriously, think about it for a minute..

Oh yeah, speaking of unhappy neighbors, i heard you called the cops on several of your neighbors and they ended up with citations for random bullshit. (having a firepit, not mowing the alleyway, etc.) Did you apologize to them?

Every time you open your mouth, you help ensure that you will never have a political future in this city.

Chad could at least apologize to the community for his illegal graffiti on neighborhood parks. But, evidently, he would rather thumb his nose at the law and his neighbors by using his right of freedom of speech (which no one disputes)and putting his ‘art’ on his own property and that of Mr. Moore’s.

Hey, I have thumbed my nose at the law before, but I can’t say I think much of Chad’s ’style’ or ‘art’. Given the lack of apology for his illegal art, I see little reason to welcome his legal art.

This is not beautiful, Elbow, this is just a waste of everyone's time.

"These people are selfish and have no regard for the tax money that is spent cleaning up for their vandalism." Scott Burger

Hey dumbass. This was done on private property at the owners request. Get off your high horse and get your facts straight. You are an idiot and the more you speak the more you prove yourself to be completely ignorant on most accounts.

So the RTD article says that the graffiti is legal because it's approved by the owner. Maybe this is an obvious question, but does that mean the SM from the message is Moore?
Negative Exposure - I honestly want to know of an example of good graffiti, because I agree that aesthetically these examples aren't impressing me - can you point me to where I could see something more worthy of being called art?

As a Graffiti Artist, I completely understand where anger against the artform takes place.
The old debate of vandalism vs. art and it being a selfish crime will go on forever, and is always followed by the question "How would you feel if I painted on your car, or your house?" Yatta yatta yatta...
To which I don't think you would like my retort or logic.
I could wax philosophical about it, but I doubt either of us would change our minds on the topic.
Label me how you like...

As an art critique I have to say this is the work falls into the suck category, and personally the Socialist poster fell into the same category. Both lack skill, talent or aesthetics that anyone would find worthy. I have seen graffiti in elementary school bathrooms that has this beat in message and talent.

"It's free to speak but expensive to be heard." -?

Graffiti is unappreciated in today's society because, among other reasons, most of it isn't beautiful; case in point.
