Firehouse Theater Open Auditions for Improv

2nd District Meeting

City Council Representative Charles Samuels has announced plans for Thursday, December 3 at the 4th Police Precinct (2219 Chamberlayne Avenue) from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Guests will include John Lewis, Executive Director, GRTC. Other agenda items include info from the Public Works Department on New Trash Collection and an update from the Mayor’s Office on the 2010 Census.

Marathon Route in Fan

Expect to see a bunch of runners in the Fan on Saturday morning–participating in the Richmond marathon, half-marathon, or 8K. The exact routes are here. The marathon races up W. Hit and Run Investigation

The Richmond Police are investigating a recent hit and run on North Boulevard at Kensington. The accident occurred just after 2 AM on Saturday, November 7, when a dark-colored Jeep Wrangler (allegedly driven by a male) struck a pedestrian and fled the scene north on the Boulevard. Cary Street Mini-Mart Robbed

The RTD reported that the new Cary Street mini-mart was robbed on Tuesday night around 9:30. No injuries were reported. An employee said man wearing a black mask and carrying a handgun demanded money, and when the employee complied, the robber fled on foot.

Assault Suspects Apprehended
