Bogarts has/had (I have not been to the new one yet) a VERY strict 'no persons under 21 policy'. The only time I ever got in there before I turned 21 was to see NoBS and that's cause I was on the list, and even then my group was seated close to the bouncer's eye. I'm not gonna drink guys, freakin relax. I got carded and eyed down more times than when I went to my first gentleman's club. Hopefully Bogarts will continue to bring the good music and relax their rules so that maybe some nice music students who don't abuse the system can get in there and watch every once in a while. I realize you can't police every asshole that walks in there, but I missed SO many great concerts by just being too young to drink. I would've bought a coke and maybe some fries and enjoyed myself, while patronizing the joint as well. NOT Students.
